Lilian Mbabazi Nailed It

Written and Produced by Pastor P, 'Ndabivuze' Gets an A-Grade

This week began on a high note, particularly for the Rwandan music industry, with the release of a new song by Ugandan singer, Lilian Mbabazi. Ndabivuze starts off with captivating, melodious flutes – the Rwandan way – leaving the listener all hypnotised. The vocals and lyrics turn passionate all along, and you still want to listen even as it ends. It is a love song which reminds us – so quietly – that loving is no weakness.

Written in beautiful Kinyarwanda, and produced by one of Kigali’s finest creatives, Pastor P, Ndabivuze is also a symbol of excellent collaboration. It will surely leave a mark on twenty-seventeen.

Lilian, who turns thirty-three later this month (born on 28 August 1984), has been working on her first Kinyarwanda album which is set to release in a few months to come. She and Paster P have nailed it on the first one.

Who isn’t left so eager to listen to the entire collection?
