In the past few months, Teta Sandra experienced what she never expected would happen so early in her entrepreneurial journey. She faced a damaging “media campaign” and was jailed twice for allegedly issuing several bounced-checks.

But she says those experiences made her “stronger, more ambitious and a down-to-earth person.”

She returns this December with another Red Avenue party; this time in the Kigali City Tower (KCT) food court, on the 26th.

Teta, 23, will co-host the red-theme party, together with Kenyan socialite and former Big Brother housemate Huddah Monroe. The event will also be graced by Tanzanian afro-pop singer Vanessa Mdee, Active group as well as other Rwandan artists and Djs.

Since February this year, she runs her own company Luminant Entertainment.

“11 months down the road as a young entrepreneur,” she says in a recent post on her Instagram, “I am thankful for the things that have taken place, most of which are very rewarding.”

Teta hosted the first Red Avenue party in July in Kigali and another one in Kampala in October, and she plans to take it to other African cities in 2016.

She says the upcoming party is a thank-you “to everyone who has been with me through all and as well as the haters for giving me a reason to do more.”
