Sunday Night Music: Ariel Wayz's Extended Play
Ariel Wayz is a rising star. We have watched her move from one stage to another, especially in the past year, through her music and her persona. “Away” was certainly a defining hit song, and we loved listening to it — just like many other Kigalians.
In recent months, Ariel has gone to transpire as something rather phenomenal.
As one observer recently told The Kigalian, “she is an interesting character.” And indeed she is: “Her and the trap music guys see themselves as cultural influencers beyond the music and are a reflection of the freedom, and hippiness of younger folks.”
Her latest work is an extended play (EP) project called “Love & Lust”. It is a set of six songs; one of them we invite you to explore tonight.
