The Hashtag: A Science Talk in Kigali with Dolph Banza

Paving Way for Science Enthusiasts in Rwanda

In this second episode of The Hashtag, I speak with creative director and illustrator Dolph Banza. You will listen to the science enthusiast explain to me what his new science talk initiative is about, why it’s relevant and how he looks to creating content to promote scientific literacy.

Dolph told me where his passion for science stems from and why technology is significant:

Science is the mother of technology because it is the foundation on which technology is laid, so it is the source code of technology. We can only understand technology if we embrace science.

The monthly intellectual talk, Dolph explains, aims to build a community of young passionate practical problem solvers who see science as a way to better understand the world around them.
