Artificial Intelligence (A.I.) remains one of the hottest technologies today, and like every new development, there are always two opposing views — the optimist and the pessimist. With A.I., this divide is more pronounced. This is because artificial intelligence, as well as its successor, artificial general intelligence (A.G.I.), has the potential to alter civilisation and, most important, the market trajectory for the foreseeable future.
