First of all, thank you for such an insightful piece. I found the idea of broadening our definition of education particularly thought-provoking, especially given that I, too, have often incorrectly used the terms education and school synonymously. I think the concept of defining education in terms of both the formal and the informal is definitely a great one. However, I am more interested in how we get to a point where we can fit both aspects of education into the definition without contradiction.
